So why did this man drop the ball? His home country has been bought out by China!! Ethiopia, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus home country, is about 1.37 trillion in debt to China.

And the Nazi’s thought that the Jews controlled the media…silly Germans. Liberals in America believe Trump is racist while CHINA is dominating Africa and its won citizens.

The truth is that the world should not make this a racist excuse to put hate upon the Chinese people, but this is a reason to put great criticism upon China and the things that need to change. The authoritarian regime caused the riots in Hong Kong; the students were waving American flags because the students know that an American democracy is beneficial for the people.

          The harmful practice of consuming things like pangolin scales and rhino horn are terribly antiquated practices that are now causing the shutdown of the global community. Wet markets and fake animal elixirs are a part of the Chinese culture that is killing people worldwide. The news should focus more on the things that could help us all, like causing real change in China.

          The Chinese government must by pissing in their little panties at the stupidity and predictability of the American government. The DNC couldn’t care less about pointing out the real problems and instead they are trying to use this virus as a political jumping point to get Sniffy-Creepy Joe Biden into the oval office.

          Wuhan outbreak started with a leading scientist leaking information about the severity of the outbreak. Like a scene from Isle of Dogs, the leading scientist was arrested and then DIED for the virus. How not to worry when China arrests and then lets the leaker die?

NY Times guest calls for more authoritarian measures like China to combat the issue on a public scale. I think the news channel is out of touch with the word “authoritarianism” and the mistake of wanting to take notes from China. Asking for more choreographed response by world leaders sounds good, but taking notes from China?

          Ny Times pushes to call the virus in an op-ed article to rename the virus “Trump-virus.” The left-wing media is having a field day blasting old Trumper with every weapon they can: Praise China’s authoritarian power, rename the virus after the American president and no body shake any hands. Its symbolic; don’t shake hands metaphorically and literally. Fight the Trump administration simply to sling mud; muckrackers they were once called by Teddy Roosevelt. The president was responding to the (catch the irony) Progressive Movement that only focused on the bad and failed to notice the good.

          Muck-Rake, focusing in on destroying the opposition with bad news, alarming press and focusing on whatever will hurt the other side. NY Times said that Trump, “falsely accused the Obama administration of mishandling the Swine-flu.” Then the NY Slimes then use quote after quote from Commie Sanders and Quid Pro Quo Joe. The Slimes did not mention the statistics from Swine-flu and simply pointed toward Trump as being a liar and causing America’s viral outbreak.

          The takeaway here is fat heads, skinny necks and degrading people with big pens complain more than report factual news. How and where do we find unbiased news? I’m clearly biased one my say after reading my dribble, but I will point to what I have done to accrue the truth: read both sides. Go listen to Glen Beck and then switch on CNN and hopefully you can find the facts in the middle.

          Many will die, many will cough, and many small businesses may close. The virus is here and 73 have died. Mother Russia is sitting pretty with zero dead, 93 confirmed cases and 4 cured. When will Putin-Land see a death? I am not wanting any deaths to happen; I am just curious how this has happened.

          LOOK AT RUSSIA: If the we want to look at the only country that has not have had any deaths, their policy was target ALL ASIANS. The motherland has “specifically targeting the Chinese community.” Cossacks patrols have boarded buses and taking the Asian people to facilities to test them. Patrols targeted Asian communities and two Asians that tested positive have been cured. The news and social media are condemning people for being “racist” and targeting Asians. The facts show that targeting the people who were in ground zero has been the most effective measure to stop the epidemic. Trump could not have done this; he would have been called even more racist (if hat is possible) so instead he is being called even more incompetent (if that is even possible).

A look into the 17 inaccuracies of the FISA report into the Trump and Russia collusion

          The first Amendment is arguably the first because it is the most important. I may not really agree with this, but I see the merit.

My argument: The FISA report shows how the government actually manipulated the media violating the first Amendment.

          Of the 17 inaccuracies one stuck out that made the whole mishap more than just a series of mistakes, more than just a conspiracy claiming that the left tried to get Trump impeached regardless of clear evidence, more than just the left media hating Trump, but one inaccuracy claiming that the FBI leaked information to yahoo news shows the government manipulating media; perhaps for political reasons or perhaps for political reasons.

          The FBI lied, or as they put it, made omission errors, when filing the investigation into Trump and Russia collusion. Carter page was wire tapped for possible collusion with Paul Manafort, but had the FBI not performed some of the 17 mistakes, the FBI would not have been given the go ahead to wiretap Crater Page.

          The NY Times mentions the 17 inaccuracies, but their audible news does not mention a single inaccuracy. Omission was an accident. Intent was the truth. The FBI was told that the Steele dossier cannot include certain unreliable sources that it contained and the FBI “omitted,” or in plain English, LIED, and claimed that their investigation does not heavily rely on the Steele dossier.

          The FBI did not mention that Carter Page was actually working with the CIA to report possible Russian spies and hackers. Carter Page had been meeting with Russian officials and all this was documented, but the FBI wrongfully cited one meeting as suspicious, despite the CIA having already known of said meeting and deemed the occasion to not be a problem.

          The inaccuracies add context to the FBI’s lie about leaking information to yahoo news. Steele and the FBI withheld information about how Steele leaked information to Yahoo news. So who is responsible for Steele? Hillary Clinton and the DNC paid for Fusion GPS, Steele’s company, to investigate Trump. The DNC is responsible and the FBI is responsible for lying and allowing this company to leak information.

          Sneaky Hilly started this ball and helped aid in government lies and defamation. The accountability is lost. No one was in trouble for any of this. When does an “Inaccuracy” become gross misconduct, a lie, treason, defamation or an attempt at a coup?

          The responsibility s placed firmly on Hillary Clinton for hiring Steele and on the FBI for lying about the leak. Government errors allowed for Page to be wire tapped and the government also turned a blind eye when the information was leaked to a news source. Failing to do your job is the same as causing it in this instance. The FBI did not leak the inaccuracies, but they allowed information damaging to Trump to be leaked. This implies that the FBI allowed certain information to get into the hands of the media, which is a manipulation of facts for a desired purpose.

          One could error on the side of the FBI and claim that they were just trying to cover up their own mistakes. The FBI may have realized that Steele had leaked information to the press and they did not want to disclose this and further damage their investigations. The FBI knew that Carter Page was working with the CIA and perhaps the FBI did not want to disclose this because maybe they thought he was a double agent or a dangling mole. This would imply gross incompetence or conspiracy of CIA cooperation with Russia and the FBI would never want to make such assumptions public.

          The problem with playing the good guy is with the a few facts that the FBI lied about to the intelligence community in order to obtain the wiretap on Carter Page. The FBI manipulated data to make it seem like Carter Page was talking with Paul Manafort, despite knowing that the current information proved this incorrect, the witness who heard that Manafort was in connection with Page was obtained at a bar in Italy and the conversation apparently was just conjecture anyways and lastly, the Steele dossier also included a joke that became highlighted news, which was obtained from a drunk person at a party.

The Joke? President Trump apparently like to watch Russian prostitutes pee on each other. This was a joke said at a party and yet Steele included this as viable information? The FBI was so bold they included a joke that later media pundits and social media goers were spreading as though the information was valid. The FBI not only leaked, or covered up a leak, information to reach the press during an investigation, but they knowingly allowed defamatory jokes to be given into a criminal inquiry in attempt to damage the president. Not inaccuracy, LIES and DEFAMATION. Furthermore (I feel like this story has so many furthermore), the FBI also lied and said that the Steele dossier was not a big part of their evidence, despite being the bulwark! Lies within lies about other lies.

It looks more like the FBI worked actively to seek impeachment of the President in a partisan fight. Trump and right wingers like inflated throat pouch Mitch McConnell, have been claiming that Obama had weaponized and politicized the FBI and unfortunately this FISA report makes that conspiracy a touch more realistic.

Check out seven of the inaccuracies and omissions below relating to the first FISA application:

Omitted information from another U.S. government agency detailing its prior relationship with Page, including that Page had been approved as an operational contact for the other agency from 2008 to 2013, and that Page had provided information to the other agency concerning his prior contacts with certain Russian intelligence officers, one of which overlapped with facts asserted in the FISA application;

Included a source characterization statement asserting that Steele’s prior reporting had been “corroborated and used in criminal proceedings,” which overstated the significance of Steele’s past reporting and was not approved by Steele’s FBI handling agent, as required by the Woods Procedures;

Omitted information relevant to the reliability of Person 1, a key Steele sub-source (who, as previously noted, was attributed with providing the information in Report 95 and some of the information in Reports 80 and 102 relied upon in the application), namely that (1) Steele himself told members of the Crossfire Hurricane team that Person 1 was a “boaster” and an “egoist” and “may engage in some embellishment” and (2) [redacted]

Asserted that the FBI had assessed that Steele did not directly provide to the press information in the September 23 Yahoo News article, based on the premise that Steele had told the FBI that he only shared his election-related research with the FBI and [Fusion GPS Founder Glenn] Simpson; this premise was factually incorrect (Steele had provided direct information to Yahoo News) and also contradicted by documentation in the Woods File-Steele had told the FBI that he also gave his information to the State Department;

Omitted Papadopoulos’s statements to an FBI CHS in September 2016 denying that anyone associated with the Trump campaign was collaborating with Russia or with outside groups like WikiLeaks in the release of emails;

Omitted Page’s statements to an FBI CHS [Confidential Human Source] in August 2016 that Page had “literally never met” or “said one word to” Paul Manafort and that Manafort had not responded to any of Page’s emails; if true, those statements were in tension with claims in Steele’s Report 95 that Page was participating in a “conspiracy” with Russia by acting as an intermediary for Manafort on behalf of the Trump campaign; and

Selectively included Page’s statements to an FBI CHS in October 2016 that the FBI believed supported its theory that Page was an agent of Russia but omitted other statements Page made, including denying having met with Sechin and Divyekin, or even knowing who Divyekin was; if true, those statements contradicted the claims in Steele’s Report 94 that Page had met secretly with Sechin and Divyekin about future cooperation with Russia and shared derogatory information about candidate Clinton.

The next 10 errors are relating to the renewal applications:

Omitted the fact that Steele’s Primary Sub-source, who the FBI found credible, had made statements in January 2017 raising significant questions about the reliability of allegations included in the FISA applications, including, for example, that he/she had no discussion with Person 1 concerning WikiLeaks and there was “nothing bad” about the communications between the Kremlin and the Trump team, and that he/she did not report to Steele in July 2016 that Page had met with Sechin;

Omitted Page’s prior relationship with another U.S. government agency, despite being reminded by the other agency in June 2017, prior to the filing of the final renewal application, about Page’s past status with that other agency; instead of including this information in the final renewal application, the FBI OGC [Office of the General Counsel] Attorney altered an email from the other agency so that the email stated that Page was “not a source” for the other agency, which the FBI affiant relied upon in signing the final renewal application;

Omitted information provided by persons with direct knowledge of Steele’s work-related performance in a prior position about Steele’s professional judgment, including statements that Steele had held a “moderately senior” position (not “high-ranking” as noted in the applications), had no history of reporting in bad faith but demonstrated “poor judgment,” “pursued people with political risk but no intelligence value,” “didn’t always exercise great judgment,” and it was “not clear what he would have done to validate” his reporting;

Omitted information from Department attorney Bruce Ohr about Steele and his election reporting, including that (1) Steele’s reporting was going to Clinton’s presidential campaign and others, (2) Simpson was paying Steele to discuss his reporting with the media, and (3) Steele was “desperate that Donald Trump not get elected and was passionate about him not being the U.S. President”;

Failed to update the description of Steele after information became known to the Crossfire Hurricane team, not only from Ohr but from others, that provided greater clarity on the political origins and connections of Steele’s reporting, including that Simpson was hired by someone associated with the Democratic Party and/or the DNC;

Failed to correct the assertion in the first FISA application that the FBI did not believe that Steele directly provided information to the reporter who wrote the September 23 Yahoo News article, even though there was no information in the Woods File to support this claim and even after certain FBI officials involved in Crossfire Hurricane learned in 2017, before the third renewal application, of an admission that Steele made in a court filing about his interactions with the news media in the late summer and early fall of 2016;

Omitted the finding from a formal FBI source validation report that Steele was suitable for continued operation but that his past contributions to the FBI’s criminal program had been “minimally corroborated,” and instead continued to assert in the source characterization statement that Steele’s prior reporting had been “corroborated and used in criminal proceedings”;

Omitted Papadopoulos’s statements to an FBI CHS in late October 2016 (after the first application was filed) denying that the Trump campaign was involved in the circumstances of the DNC email hack;

Omitted Joseph Mifsud’s denials to the FBI that he supplied Papadopoulos with the information Papadopoulos shared with the FFG (suggesting that the campaign received an offer or suggestion of assistance from Russia); and

Omitted evidence indicating that Page played no role in the Republican platform change on Russia’s annexation of Ukraine as alleged in Steele Report 95, which was inconsistent with a factual assertion relied upon to support probable cause in all four FISA applications.

Early supporters of eugenics believed people inherited mental illness, criminal tendencies and even poverty, and that these conditions could be bred out of the gene pool.”

What was the outcome of Eugenics?

• From 1909 to 1979, around 20,000 sterilizations occurred in California state mental institutions under the guise of protecting society from the offspring of people with mental illness.
• The office tracked families and their genetic traits, claiming most people considered unfit were immigrants, minorities or poor
• In 1927, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that forced sterilization of the handicapped does not violate the U.S. Constitution.
• According to a 1976 Government Accountability Office investigation, between 25 and 50 percent of Native Americans were sterilized between 1970 and 1976
• Most sterilization were not based on specific  “disorders that have a clear transmission pattern across generations…[but those] which have a genetic component but do not have a clear transmission pattern.” This made the statistics about eugenics program hard to track.
• There are examples of eugenic acts that managed to lower the prevalence of recessive diseases, although not influencing the prevalence of heterozygote carriers of those diseases. The elevated prevalence of certain genetically transmitted diseases among the Ashkenazi Jewish population (Tay–Sachs, cystic fibrosis, Canavan’s disease, and Gaucher’s disease), has been decreased in current populations by the application of genetic screening.^[93]
• Pleiotropy occurs when one gene influences multiple, seemingly unrelated phenotypic traits, an example being phenylketonuria, which is a human disease that affects multiple systems but is caused by one gene defect.^[94] Andrzej Pękalski, from the University of Wrocław, argues that eugenics can cause harmful loss of genetic diversity if a eugenics program selects a pleiotropic gene that could possibly be associated with a positive trait. What is the outcome of Abortion?

• Improved safety of abortion
• Countries where abortion is legal only due to medical or social reasons have a 25 percent lower abortion rate than countries where abortion is available on request. 
• Other studies find little evidence that a significant number of minor girls circumvent these laws by obtaining abortions in nearby states (Blum, Resnick, and Stark 1987; Rogers et al. 1991; Joyce, Kaestner, and Colman 2006).
• Boston Globe writer James Alan Fox has yet another refutation of the claim by economists John Donohue and Steven Levitt in their infamous book Freakonomics that legalizing abortion led to a drop in crime rates.
• The evidence from Canada, Australia, and Romania also support the hypothesis that abortion reduces crime

The purpose of eugenics was to better the genepool, which unless strictly combating disease, becomes a subjective measure and collides with racism and elitism (elitism in the sense that sterilizing parents with low IQ operates on the faulty notion that two people with low IQ cannot have a child with a high IQ and the likelihood is the only thing taken into account.)

     Certain diseases can be passed hereditarily, and the data does not give a clear indication, but logically one can assume that eugenics will lower certain diseases.

The purpose is subjective and based on what a dominant group considers to be a just reason for sterilization. The outcome can be deduced logically that the population may have had a higher IQ, but the method was ineffective, inconsistent and not a clear cut science for many diseases such as schizophrenia.

The outcome did deliver some of the intended purposes, but many unintended purposes arrived: lack of diversity, increased racial selectivity, killing myopic birth that can also be associated with high intelligence etc.

Abortion has an unintended outcome that serves the purpose of eugenics. Abortion is argued in popular spheres as a method of getting rid of an unwanted pregnancy for various legitimate reasons and this choice is protected by the Due Process Clause of the 14^thAmendment (and right to privacy in the first, fourth, fifth, ninth and fourteenth).

The outcome is a contradiction. Many pundits, scientists and news sources claim that legal abortion will not increase the amount of abortions because illegal abortions, or migratory abortions (getting an abortion in a legal state when the pregnant woman lives in a state that will not allow her to get an abortion), but the book Freakonomics claims that because of legal abortions, crime dropped. The book claims that legal abortion allowed Chicago’s crime wave to dissipate because teens in poor and neglected areas were able to get abortions. This lowered crime because criminals typically are born into single parent homes that have a parent who is likely to be young, on drugs, involved in crime, living in a crime ridden area or brought into a household that cannot provide care and love (which is supplemented with gang life).

The outcome in this book directly negates the claim that legal abortion does not cause a rise in abortion. If illegal abortion happened at the same rate, then this drop in crime due to legal abortion would have never happened.

The connection to eugenics is the unintentional social engineering that abortions in crime ridden areas create. The purpose of eugenics is the betterment of society through the betterment of offspring and a nations citizens. Abortion has apparently lowered crime by ending the life of fetuses before they can become criminals.

The outcome of abortion is less criminal activity. Conception is not engineered, but birth is the target. Eugenics does not stipulate that conception must be altered (the Greeks did not have our modern methods, so either altering conception or killing out of the womb babies were their only options) but only that birth must be altered either through sterilization, or as I am proposing, through abortion.

          In my morning carpool to work a fellow employee guffawed when the New York Times audible said that Trump believes the economy is resilient to the epidemic. Last week my coworker also claimed that he is not happy that there is a contagious virus, but anything that hurts Trump is a good thing.

Unequal treatment is a major component of racism and it is characteristic in the way or hard working Orange-man is treated.

          And let’s take a comparative look at the last big viral outbreak. Swine flu: It was mocked just like this virus has turned into a slew of memes and jokes. My friend sneezes, “Ohhh H1N1” I would have said.

          H1N1 was a pandemic and infected “60.8 million (msn)” people in the US alone. Obama waited 6 months (after 1000 people had died) to tackle the issue and added 1.5 billion to combat the pandemic. 

          Trump only waited 3 months, after 14 have died and proposed 2.8 billion dollars; Old Chucky Shmoomers didn’t like that and claimed Trump should not aid in America’s viral outbreak and said we needed to add 5 billion in aid.

          Obama’s reaction was viewed as positive and Trump’s negative. The NY Times went as far as to claim that Trump was slow to respond and because of this, millions of people will get infected and implying that he is the cause of many deaths.

          Small pox blankets were nothing compared to this untimely (very timely) accidental (level 4 security lab in Wuhan?) viral epidemic; soon to be pandemic. So China is hurting the news says, but the left news claims that this will trigger a recession and will look bad for Trump going into the general election.

          If germ theory had been discovered, maybe the conquistadors would have used viral warfare on purpose. As they say nowadays, economic sanctions and viral attacks are the new nukes (no one says that, but it seems like it could be true). I am not claiming that China let out a virus on purpose, but its effects could have the beneficial results as though they had been. Trump bad for China. Virus bad for Trump. China benefit from corona virus. Oil prices drop amidst arguments and America’s energy independence is faltering.

          The unfair treatment of Trump has lead me to see that unequal treatment is letting out a war cry of white middle aged intellectuals, and pseudo-intellectuals, who hate Trump for his policies, whiteness, mean words and prosperity.

Either way you split it, Trumper has thick skin here and thin skin there. Trump may attack wildly, or quickly let his beliefs fly, and other times he is lenient (he didn’t try to sue Kathy Lee Gifford for her death threats).

Morality is not skin deep and if you want to be justified in your own home, you have to love yourself and be able to justify your actions. The left has to do this if they want to win and it makes honest people on the left have to cater to people as though they are more important because they use to be less important.

          Biden wants the Latino vote; Give 11 million citizenship. He has the black vote; he pretended to be Obama’s best friend. But thankfully the communist Bernie got the boot. Socialism, communism and authoritarianism have been the exact political beliefs that have led to the development of the United States and now regression? People fought for a country free of dictators, free from government controlled state and now people are asking for it again?

             Work. The reason is work. People want others to work for them. We have these silly phones and cars and computers that all do the work for us and now many people want to have a government do the work for them. We progressed so far with technology that it was made people regress into dead modes of political thought in western world. The birth of the computer chip spawned the old ape brain within the human. Work is work, and if someone can do it for me I will be free…Freedom is work. I know it sounds like Paradoxes and Oxymoron’s by john Ashbery (“It has been played once more. I think you exist only to tease me into doing it, on your level, and then you aren’t there Or have adopted a different attitude”) but that’s how it works.

             Freedom is not the ability to not have to do anything and still be able to exist, but freedom is the ability to work for the things you desire and need. A right is misleading. A right to life does not mean that the government is forced to make sure you stay alive, but right to life means that everyone should be able to have the ability to live.

It’s another sad day for Bernie Sanders. Kloubuchar and PP Buttgig backed out and endorsed Joe Biden. Sniffy Joe only sniffs white people, and yet the blacks love him for being Obama’s token white boi whilst shadow scraping n fixin’ deals in Ukraine, China, and Kyrgyzstan under the guise of national policy. No wonder they hate Bernie Sanders, they are total money grubbers and wring every ounce of coin out of their government positions, while Bernie wants to legally take your money for the (Insert air quotes) betterment of society.

The DNC saw that Biden still has a chance to clinch enough delegates with others out of the way. Perhaps Warren will take enough of Sanders delegates so Biden can come up the rear. Klubuchar (can anyone spell her name?) should have taken much of Minnesota, being from there, but I reckon the DNC saw that she may have been able to steal delegates from Bernie, but with her out of the way, Biden will get more and so will Bernie (but remember candidates need a threshold and I believe the DNC thinks Biden needs a little extra from Minnesota. I also believe the DNC thinks its voice the gold standard and hope that the endorsements of Biden will be strong enough to turn the tide.

Biden has sacrificed Bernie’s foreskin. He stole it from his rabbi and used it as a Burnt offering. He know has full control over all the actors in the DNC, but Bernie is strong willed and of the chosen people. Bernie just may have the right blood to combat the evil alliance of neo-liberal capitalist whom sell America’s lifeblood to the highest international bidders.

ELECTORAL COLLEGE

Below are excerpts from a NY Time Opinion Piece

“Actually, the Electoral College Was a Pro-Slavery Ploy

That fact alone doesn’t mean it ought to be scrapped. But we should be clear about its disreputable origins.”

My claim is that the opinion is leveraged against the Electoral College in order to attempt to eliminate it by rooting it in a false origin story that its creation was to help slave owners and its elimination would be better for the country. Below this piece I will share some sentiments from other teachers I have worked with. Men like Akhil Reed Amar associate the Electoral College with Trump and the Electoral College with slavery so they can assert the popular slanderous narrative that Trump is racist, the Electoral College is racist and we need to do away with them both.

Many Americans are critical of the Electoral College, an attitude that seems to have intensified since Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election despite losing the popular vote. These critics often make two arguments: first, that electing the president by direct popular vote would be preferable in a democracy; and second, that the Electoral College has disreputable origins, having been put into the Constitution to protect the institution of slavery.

Amar asserts that many American’s are fed up with the Electoral College because Trump won the presidency. This claim is correct. Many people want to change the Electoral College because then the populace would win and more importantly, their candidate would win. It’s about wanting to win, not about fairness.

The second claim asserts that the Electoral College was put into the constitution with the intention of protecting slavery. I claim this is false and I will argue my side using this writers words.

“As James Madison made clear at the Constitutional Convention in 1787 in Philadelphia, the big political divide in America was not between big and small states; it was between North and South and was all about slavery. So, too, was the Electoral College at the founding, both in its original incarnation in 1787 and in the version later created by the 12th Amendment, which was adopted in 1804.”

“…if slaves could somehow be counted in an indirect system, maybe at a discount (say, three-fifths), well, that might sell in the South. Thus were planted the early seeds of an Electoral College system.”

The above quote notes how the Electoral College was not a benefit to the South unless there was a way to add more of a population, the 3/5 compromise, so the extremely small states could gain more electors. The Electoral College helps smaller states, but the South had such a small population that the benefits would have been for naught, lest they added slave votes and hence the 3/5 compromise. Many arguments for proportionality control were made.

James Madison argued for district voting in primaries where electors would vote in their respective state districts and also have secondary candidates to vote for. His proposal was a non-starter because of the imminent threat of this leading to a majority one party rule in close elections.

In other words, the lack of diversity woul have been brought upon by Madison’s proposal and ultimately create a single ruling party, one such argument against a direct popular vote for the president (we will discuss Madison’s later suggestions as well).

Here is the real “devil,” a later remark by Akhil Reed Amar, which purposely disregards the notion that the 3/5 compromise may be more to blame. He calls the Electoral College the “devil” and only mentions the three-fifths compromise as an additive to the devil; “Thanks to the three-fifths clause, slave states got extra votes in the House, just as in the Electoral College system that was finally adopted.” Amar puts the 3/5 compromise and the electoral college on the same footing seemingly claiming that the Electoral College and the compromise were in tandem racist constructions and the “devil.” Amar contradict himself in his next statement.

“The dominant political figure in antebellum America was the pro-slavery Andrew Jackson, who in 1829 proposed eliminating electors while retaining pro-slavery apportionment rules rooted in the three-fifths clause — in effect creating a system of pro-slavery electoral-vote counts without the need for electors themselves.”

The real devil rears his head. Jackson wanted to abolish the Electoral College and keep the 3/5 Compromise so pro-slavery votes would have more weight. The real friend of the America’s slave history was the 3/5 compromise and not the Electoral College. Then why blame the Electoral College and claim it was built to help slave owners?

“Today, of course, slavery no longer skews and stains our system — and maybe the Electoral College system should remain intact. The best argument in its favor is simply inertia: Any reforms might backfire, with unforeseen and adverse consequences. The Electoral College is the devil we know.”

“But we should not kid ourselves: This devil does indeed have devilish origins.”

Well the reason why he calls it the devil is because of his first lines “Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton.” This is the real reason we call this method the “devil” built in the fashion to help slave owners and sound the horns of popular vote. Call forth the mode of presidential election that Madison himself knew was a non-starter because many states would become unimportant and the possibility of one party domination.

The calls for eliminating the Electoral College rarely take into account Madison’s later proposals to amend the Electoral College that may create more popularly chosen candidates by instituting runoff elections and narrowing presidential candidates to better fit the voices of the people.

In essence, Madison may have just wanted a popular vote, believing majority voice is best, and unpopular opinion that even Madison himself had trouble with. He knew there were problems with popular vote for president and his proposals to alter the Electoral College seem to point towards the notion that Electoral College is not a pro-slavery draconian system, but a system abused by the 3/5 compromise and a system that works better than the other options thus far.

Calls for the elimination of and the false slave origin story of the Electoral College are rampant on school campuses and being an English and American Politics teacher, I am a minority that no other teachers wish to talk to about this subject. The two other political teachers here have little problem saying their opinion about why they don’t like the Electoral College but they never talk about the slave origins, and I retort, they drop that line of argument.

It seems that they do this because they may believe me to be inflexible, maybe perhaps they see that topic as so racially driven that they do not wish to even try and justify the other side; that is a problem with today’s PC movement.

The problem is that the left media associates such vile things to words that if you believe a topic or say a bad word, the left puts you into this box. The boo box. They put you in the boo box. If you argue for Trump BOOM racist in the boo box. If you claim the US is the best BOOM racist/xenophobe in the boo box. Even if you claim that China right now are just as bad as the Nazis were BOOM in the boo box. But sir, the Chinese are entering Muslims into reeducation programs, forcing abortions, controlling all media, feeding people tainted bat soup, and launching daily cyber-attacks against the US. Boo box.

The Electoral College slavery origin story is just another piece of the constitution that authoritarian fascistic leftist leaders wish to change. If you don’t like it, make it illegal or socially deplorable (Clinton literally called all Trump supporters deplorable). Crying babies of the left want to destroy what America was founded on and they are doing it one piece at a time.
