Oscars: I’d Rather Chew my Cud

The Oscars. We watch them now in order to dump on America, Trump, White People and the artificial insemination of cows.

The best role went to Joaquin phoenix in his performance of a mentally deranged clown who has little grasp on reality, is constantly picked on, has a sad mother he takes care of and is feeling the negative effects of social deprivation (as in he feels he deserves more than he has; and in this movie, the Joker really does deserve more than life provides and Gurr’s theory comes true and we experience civil violence.

In the movie the Joker was stepped on every day and he blamed everyone, everything and wanted people to tear it all down and laugh. At the Oscars Phoenix wants to tear down things as well…so let’s go over his speech.

Ill break down the important speeches:

  1. Joaquin Phoenix

Everyone expects him to be crazy and he did not disappoint despite starting off somewhat normal, “ But I think the greatest gift that it’s given me, and many of us in this room, is the opportunity to use our voice for the voiceless.” The voiceless, besides unborn babies, and anyone they disagree with politically, is actually not human but baby cows (hold tight).

His next line is Hollywoods anti-american anti-white propaganda in a nutshell, “ We’re talking about the fight against the belief that one nation, one people, one race, one gender, or one species has the right to dominate, control and use and exploit another with impunity.” The left loves to add things that are there to prove points. “one race” I’m sure he means that white elites control this country and they must be ameliorated but one gender? I thought there are like 26? Oh no, he means that men dominate. Yeaaaaa. One species? Yea humanity is comprised of…humans. Perhaps he means climate change will kill off everything except humans? I don’t know. And America is a hegemonic nation constantly keeping control through various means, sometimes taking poppy farms from Afghanistan, or building a wall, and often our country makes hard choices and occasionally the wrong choice.

It’s supposed to be one nation under God with liberty and justice for all. But according to this man, every gender needs the rights they made up, every animal should be given human rights or actually…actually I have no idea what he is talking about. Now I’m adding things. Sorry Joaquin Phoenix I didn’t mean to make your crazed rant into a crazed conspiracy.

“I think that we’ve become very disconnected from the natural world, and many of us, what we’re guilty of is an egocentric worldview, the belief that we’re the center of the universe.” Umm pot kettle? Humility is the best way to drive out the ills of egoism and selfishness. It seems there was a big lack of humility at the Oscars.

Granted, I do believe the first half of his statement that many of us are “very disconnected from the natural world,” and those of us who provide solutions are often ridiculed; like Phoenix here, or Chris Pratt who took his son hunting (Chriss Pratt wasn’t just showing his son nature and how to hunt, but also how toxic masculinity is a myth; also because “Pratt” has two “t’s” I was to spell his first name “Chriss.”)

His next line is a little tough to swallow, especially if you are lactose intolerant or vegan, “We go into the natural world and we plunder it for its resources. We feel entitled to artificially inseminate a cow and when she gives birth, we steal her baby, even though her cries of anguish are unmistakable. And then we take her milk that’s intended for her calf and we put it in our coffee and our cereal.”

I do believe we plunder our natural world, our energy sources are not perfect and diversifying our energy sources I do believe is for the benefit of us all and our world; however, we need to earth’s resources. Plants need to be eaten, animals too you silly vegan (canine teeth are meant for meat), but he does have a point. China and India pollute too much and America needs to put these tyrannical nations under Americas thumb.

I do hear you Joaquin. Forcing pregnancy on a cow is disturbing. Then taking (I say taking because stealing is more of a human concept and ownership for humans is based off of rights and ownership for animals is based off of power) the calf is also quite sad. Perhaps our meat and dairy industries need some regulation, or more human methods. We all saw those videos of workers beating, hitting, shocking and moving cows with tractors. Disturbing and cruel and no human should treat another living creature in such a way.

Joaquin…you get partial lunacy and a pinch of good sense.
